From then on various celebrations like "Madivanthike", "Punya Snana", "Aarathi", "Pongalu Sevai", "Hasi Karaga", "Petai Karaga" and "Gauseve" take place. The flag is hoisted on a bamboo flag pole. The Thiglas of Jeraganahalli provide bamboo for the flagpole.
